ABOUT

Jacqueline Hessenauer

Compassionate Therapist | Embodied Inquiry Practitioner

I work at the thresholds where body, psyche, and spirit meet — places of transformation that cannot be reached through thought alone. Through trauma‑informed somatic inquiry, dialogue, and conscious, consent‑based touch, I support individuals in restoring safety, presence, and embodied truth.

My work is grounded, relational, and precise, honouring the body as a living source of wisdom.

“Truth does not arrive as an idea. It arrives as a sensation.”

Dakini — Revealing Truth Through the Intelligence of the Body

Trauma-informed somatic inquiry integrating dialogue and consent-based bodywork.

MY APPROACH

My approach is trauma‑informed, consent‑based, and deeply somatic. I support clients in accessing unconscious material held in the body through:

  • Compassionate inquiry

  • Somatic awareness

  • Dialogue

  • Conscious, respectful touch (where appropriate)

This work supports integration rather than performance, helping the body and psyche reorganise around truth, safety, and presence.

“The body remembers what the mind cannot speak.”

DAKINI

Embodied Wisdom in Practice

In Tibetan Buddhism and tantric traditions, a Dakini is:

  • An embodiment of wisdom

  • A messenger between unconscious and conscious realms

  • A guardian of thresholds — birth, death, trauma, sexuality, awakening

  • One who works through the body, energy, and direct experience

I use the title Dakini to reflect embodied expertise rather than symbolism. It describes how I work — listening deeply to the body where truth naturally emerges.

“A Dakini listens where words fall away.”

My work aligns with the Dakini archetype because I:

  • Navigate profound thresholds of transformation in body and mind

  • Use trauma‑informed dialogue and somatic intervention to access material beneath thought

  • Support integration and embodied truth rather than idealised states

I was bestowed the Dakini lineage by my enlightened Guru, Swami Rahasya, founder of South Africa’s first Wild Tantra path, the Advait Tantra School. This lineage grounds my work in a living tantric tradition, integrating deep somatic inquiry with spiritual insight.

PHILOSOPHY

My work bridges clinical grounding with spiritual depth. I bring a high capacity for mind‑body inquiry, guiding individuals safely through trauma, intimacy, sexuality, life transitions, and experiences of death.

This integration allows transformation to unfold in a grounded, ethical, and sustainable way.

“The threshold is not a problem to solve — it is a place to enter.”

BEGIN YOUR JOURNEY

If you are standing at a threshold — seeking healing, integration, or deeper truth — you are welcome to connect.

Schedule a session, workshop, or retreat to experience trauma‑informed somatic guidance for embodied healing and transformation.

“Clarity arrives when the body is finally allowed to speak.”

Dakini Shima

I love, this is my work.

I wander and wonder, this is my method.

I bow to the ancient spiralling lineage of Dakini, this is my inner fountain of wisdom and pure desire.

My deep pleasure is to find doorways into the Mystery,

on a magic broomstick,

inside the path of Rainbow and Stardust.

I have not yet found a place that I am unwilling to go, to discover truth, and I have found no illusion, too precious, to insist upon.

And sometimes, it has been necessary for me to stop and wait, for my soul to catch up to my body, as the great Masai do, when walking a long Way across the Savannah of Kenya.

I have been on this path for a very long time.

My oldest human memory is about 5000 years old, give or take, back in good old Sodom and Gomorrah, but once I remembered being a tree in an ancient forest, long before humans, and I could speak the language of forest and all who lived in it.

I go by many names, but feels myself currently as a Whispering Wondering Wild Woman
